Most thing on front page are fandoms like MLP and Homestuck. They get 100 comments a day, while other artist who have much more talent get at most 1 view a week. ( what really annoys me is when people are popular for TRACED bases. I mean, come one DA, it's just as bad as any other traced art._.)

Personally, I'm just on here to share my art. Even if no one sees it. Popularity would be pretty cool, but that's not the point of DA.

I'm on DeviantART to share and appreciate art; I don't like it when someone asks me how to become popular - there is no secret

Very true, I once went through a photographer's whole gallery and thought to myself "How in the world do people like your pieces?" deviant has over 300K pv and people say his stuff is so original...right as original as writing cliche quotes on paper or on a sidewalk and getting a lot of views for it. *shakes head*

Anyways, it is about the art, and I'm not sure why there are people who sell out for pageviews or what not. Anyways, great stamp!
